Water Hazards: East Loch at 18th, Muiddy Loch at 10th and pond at
13th. 3. Preferred Lies: Through the green a ball lying on any closely mown area may be lifted and cleaned without penalty and placed within two clublengths of where it originally lay, but not nearer the hole. After the ball has been so placed it is in play. 4. Hydro Poles and Wires: A ball striking either must be replayed. 5. Through the green a ball embedded in its own pitch mark may be lifted, cleared and dropped without penalty as near as possible to the spot where it lay but not nearer the hole. 6. Through the green a ball lying among stones, or a player’s stance being impeded by stones, a free drop may be taken within one clublength. 7. Hoof marks, tractor ruts, rabbit holes, collapsed rabbit holes and sheep tracks may be treated as G.U.R. 8. Horse or Sheep Manure: A ball affected by such conditions may be lifted, cleaned and dropped within one clublength. 9.
All roads/ paths and piles of grass cuttings are G.U.R. NOTE:
Free drops in Nos. 5 to 9 above: A ball may only be lifted in the
presence of an opponent in matchplay or the marker in strokeplay. |
